水俣環境アカデミアは、「知」の連携拠点として、「水俣の知」と国内外の「知」をつなぎ、高等教育・研究の促進及び産学官民の連携により、新たな「知」を創造し、世界が直面する様々な課題に対する解決策を発信します。
 
With 'knowledge' as a base for cooperation, the Minamata Environmental Academia connects 'Minamata knowledge' with domestic and international 'knowledge'.

Through higher education and research activities, as well as through industry – school – government – citizen collaboration, we create new 'knowledge' and disseminate solutions to a range of issues that the world faces.
